loving the customer service at EVERLANE

i'm always up for trying new brands especially when they carry comfy t-shirts and v-necks. in the summer i live in J.Crew's vintage v-neck tees and watch their sales like a hawk to try and add to my collection without going broke (okay i know 29.50 probably isn't a big deal for others but i'm still a gal on a budget!)  i've read about EVERLANE on other blogger sites like Blushing Ambition and Pink Horror Show but i hadn't yet tried the brand for myself. i decided it was time to bite the bullet and after i signed-up for the members only site i was emailed a free shipping offer so it was a no brainier.

Everlane offers simple chic cotton wears at an affordable price and they also have a line of leather belts and tote bags. i found a v-neck tee in a color i don't own and hit the order button. the order was processed quickly and shipping didn't take too long for free shipping. i'm a big presentation/packing gal and once my shirt arrived and i opened the package the kraft paper wrap of the t-shirt was a nice touch.

unfortunately for me the v-neck didn't work out at least not in a size small. i'm five feet three inches with a 26 inch waist and wear a small/x-small in J.Crew v-necks but the small for Everlane was very small... almost tummy baring short and quite snug... maybe it was bad batch maybe it's because i don't have the same build/frame as the model (she was five feet seven inches with a 25 inch waist) on their site who was wearing an x-small that looked loose and relaxed... which still baffles me on how the small didn't fit me but regardless i just want to say that my feedback was well received and the customer service that was offered when i contacted Everlane was FANTASTIC.

online shopping can still have ups and downs but when i'm willing to try a new brand and it doesn't work but the company goes above and beyond to provide stellar customer service i'll be willing to try again with said company (sounds like a no brainier but this seems more like a rarity then the norm). i do have to say the material of the Everlane tees is a dreamy soft cotton that is not too thick or too thin at least for my liking. long story short my first order didn't get me the dream v-neck results i was hoping for but i'm willing to try again.

next in line for a v-neck slub cotton review is Lands' End Canvas... they had a steal on their version of slub cotton v-necks (9.99) and i located a free shipping coupon to boot. we'll see... all this extra time to find a slightly more affordable version of my favorite J.Crew vintage v-neck may not be worth the trouble.
